Like its big brother, the Scope Cam 2 4K, the 2S includes a "Flashback" cable, allowing you to activate the camera from anywhere on your primary setup. Previews, playback, and setting adjustments are carried out wirelessly through the RunCam app, available on both iOS and Android, allowing you to preview your footage live and ensure you're getting the shots you need in-game. If the lofty price point of the full-fat RunCam puts you off, the RunCam Scope Cam 2S gives you most of the functionality for far less money!

If you're planning on seeking YouTube fame or you want to relive your Airsoft moments off the field, the RunCam Scope Cam 2S should be on your shopping list. A more affordable alternative to the RunCam Scope Cam 2 4K, the 2S provides almost all of the functionality of the full-fat version but records at 1080P resolution to keep things economical.
The RunCam Scope Cam 2S is ready to mount to 20mm Picatinny rails via its integral mount, making it compatible with the vast majority of Airsoft guns, and very easy to install. The activation switch is on the top, requiring a forward push to commence filming. The USB Type-C charging port is on the rear, with the SD card slot just below.
RunCam's app allows for live previews, playback and setting adjustment, including the ability to add a crosshair to your footage, as we're all accustomed to seeing on YouTube. The included Flashback cable allows you to remotely activate the Scope Cam 2S from practically anywhere on your primary, working similarly to a pressure switch used for tactical flashlights and laser aiming modules.
The RunCam Scope Cam 2S requires a micro SD card(not included) to record footage, capable of recording onto SD cards of a maximum of 512GB in MP4 format. We recommend choosing a high-speed card (Class 10/UHS-I /UHS-II /UHS-III) to ensure your footage is of the best possible quality.
Amongst its many tricks, the Scope Cam 2S is IP64 water-resistant, shock-resistant and fog-resistant, ideal for outdoor events where you never know what the weather has in store. Like the 4K version, the 2S is also offered in two different focal lengths, the 35mm for long shots and the 25mm for closer-range shots. We recommend the 35mm for sniper rifles and the 25mm for standard AEG/GBB platforms.

Special Instructions
The Scope Cam 2S supports up to a maximum of 512GB SD Cards. The minimum capacity for an SD card used in the Scope Cam 2S is 32GB. Please ensure that the file format of your SD Card is FAT32 or exFAT; otherwise, errors may occur. SD Cards above 64GB must be formatted via the RunCam App. If your device is not registering the SD card, the write speed of your SD card is likely too slow.
Type-C only supports charging from a DC 5V power supply. Please use only a conventional phone charger or power bank when charging the camera's battery.
