If you're after an affordable pinker for backyard target shooting, the Swiss Arms MLE 2022 Spring Operated Airsoft Pistol is a great option! Made from ABS polymer, this single-shot spring-action pistol is inspired by the real steel SP2022, a modernised, weight-reduced alternative to the steel-framed P22x series, equipped with a 20mm Picatinny rail for a flashlight or aiming laser and an ergonomic grip design with a wraparound texture.

The MLE 2022 features all the authentic details a collector would appreciate, making it a great way to expand a pistol replica collection without breaking the bank. Performance-wise, this pistol hits out at approximately 230 FPS using 0.20g BBs and has a fixed HOP-up unit, which keeps your BBs stable in flight and extends range by applying backspin. The magazine holds 24 BBs, and we recommend using either 0.20g or 0.25g BBs.

Like other spring-operated pistols, you'll need to cock the MLE 2022 before each shot, but thankfully, the rear slide serrations provide plenty of grip and make cocking it easy. Whether you need a cheap pistol prop for filmmaking, an SP2022 to complete your pistol wall or a springer pistol for safe and controlled backyard target shooting, the Swiss Arms MLE 2022 Spring Operated Airsoft Pistol will do the trick!

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
