Whether you're after an economical pistol for backyard target shooting or a winter-ready sidearm with full-auto, the Swiss Arms NAVY Pistol AEP; MOSFET Version is a fine choice. Styled after an iconic special forces sidearm famed for its reliability, the NAVY Pistol boasts an alloy slide and polymer frame, giving it a more realistic weight and feel than other AEPs.

This version is equipped with a MOSFET trigger unit, enhancing trigger response, boosting rate of fire and allowing 7.4V LiPo batteries to be used. The set even includes a USB LiPo balance charger and a speed loader, though it does not include a battery (we recommend a 7.4V 680mAh LiPo).

While it may not be a violently recoiling, maintenance-heavy beast like a GBB pistol, an AEP runs all year round, with no care about the cold and minimal maintenance between games. Unlike most GBB pistols, its full auto fire mode is accurate and effective, making it an asset for a sniper seeking a compact sidearm which always works when the trigger is pulled.

Description

The Swiss Arms NAVY Pistol is supplied with a USB LiPo balance charger, but a battery is NOT included. We recommend a 7.4V 680mAh LiPo in AEP Stick Configuration with a Mini-Deans connector. A brief reminder: never leave your battery on charge unattended and always use a Battery Safe Charging Bag.

Quick Start Guide

Charge your Battery: Place your battery inside a Battery Safe Charging Bag. Next, connect your USB Balance Charger to a power supply. The charger should be plugged into a 3-pin adapter connected to a wall socket rather than charged through a port on a PC or device. Connect the balance connector (the small, white connector) on your battery to the corresponding port on the included USB Charger. Your charger will cut off when your battery reaches capacity, but you should never leave it on charge unattended.
Load your Magazine: Drag the follower on the front of your magazine to the bottom, and pour BBs in through the fill/feed port at the top. You can do this by hand or using the included speed loader.
Put on your Eye Protection: Safety when using Airsoft guns should be your number 1 priority. Always wear eye protection before loading your Airsoft gun and ensure any spectators are also protected.
Connect your Battery: Rotate the disassembly lever (on the centre left) clockwise by 90 degrees. Next, press the slide release catch down (the rearmost serrated catch on the left side), and the slide/upper assembly can be lifted free. Position your battery beneath the barrel, then connect the two mini-Deans connectors. With your wiring tucked in neatly, position the slide over the barrel at the front, align it with the frame rails at the rear, then slide it back. With the slide reinstalled, rotate the disassembly lever counterclockwise by 90 degrees to secure it.
Insert your magazine: With the barrel pointed in a safe direction and your finger off the trigger, insert your magazine by pushing it up into the magazine well.
You're now ready to shoot! - Never shoot at animals or humans who aren't in an Airsoft skirmish

Why choose an Automatic Electric Pistol (AEP)?

Semi / Full Auto fire modes: AEPs are amongst the most compact platforms with selective fire. This makes them great as a sniper's backup platform.
All-year-round performance: Unlike GBB pistols, AEPs do not suffer from "cooldown" in cold weather. This means they shoot the same all year round, ideal for skirmishers who do not fear the frost!
Economical to run: While a battery may be similarly priced to a can of gas, you'll only need to buy a battery once. All you need to do to keep shooting is keep your battery charged and buy plenty of BBs!
Minimal maintenance: GBB Pistols need to be constantly lubricated and cleaned to stay reliable. AEPs are simple, like AEGs, only smaller. This means all you need to do is clean the inner barrel now and then to keep your AEP shooting as new.

Platform Details

Styled after a famous pistol used by the US Navy SEALs, the SAS and SBS, the Swiss Arms NAVY Pistol is made with an alloy slide and polymer frame, giving it authentic heft and a realistic feel. The slide features open iron sights on the top, a detailed mock chamber and rear slide serrations, closely matching the real deal.

At the front of the frame, we're treated to a 20mm Picatinny rail, ready for a tactical flashlight or aiming laser to be mounted. Following the rail, we come to the trigger guard, a recurved design intended to provide an extra point of support for better recoil control.

The disassembly lever is above the trigger guard on the left side, matching the real pistol perfectly. The fire mode selector is just behind, offering two modes of fire: semi-automatic and fully automatic. Each mode is denoted with red dots, with a single dot for semi-auto and 3 dots for full auto.

Below the fire selector, we come to the magazine release, positioned on the left side of the grip for easy access for right-handed shooters. The mag release is a push-button design with a textured surface, ensuring it can be used easily during wet-weather or when wearing gloves.

Behind the fire selector, we can find the slide release catch, a textured button which perfectly mimics the slide lock/release of the real thing. Turning the disassembly lever clockwise by 90 degrees and pressing the slide release downwards allows you to remove the slide for battery insertion and HOP-up adjustment.

The HOP-up adjuster can be found on the left side of the outer barrel, accessible with the slide removed. This allows you to tune the trajectory of your BBs for different ammo weights by varying the amount of backspin applied, seeking the flattest possible flight path. We recommend using 0.20g BBs for indoor CQB and 0.25g BBs for outdoor gameplay.

The grip itself features crackle texture panels on either side, just like the real thing, ensuring you get a great balance of comfort and traction. Mock grip screws are present on either side, along with logo windows, closely matching the real pistol. While it is slightly wider than the real thing to accommodate AEP internals, the grip is comfortably shaped and should suit most hand sizes.

At the rear of the slide, we're treated to a mock hammer. This doesn't serve a function other than to complete the realistic look. The hammer has a textured surface so you can pull it back and let it go, but it doesn't lock in the cocked position.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
