Theta Optics 3-9X40 BE Illuminated Riflescope

The 3–9X40 BE Illuminated Riflescope offers an impressive level of adjustability, with control over magnification, focus, reticle illumination colour, and brightness. With this many tuning options at your fingertips, there’s very little this optic can’t be adjusted to suit your playstyle. Supplied complete with a 30mm cantilever scope mount for 20mm Picatinny rails, this scope includes everything you need to get started straight out of the box; all that’s missing is the rifle.

Thanks to its versatile magnification range, this optic performs exceptionally well at mid-range, and can even be used with both eyes open at lower magnification if required. While it won’t match the speed of a red dot sight, the 3–9X40 BE strikes an excellent balance between strong magnification and reasonably fast target acquisition, making it ideal for DMR and sniper-style gameplay. The included cantilever mount also features Picatinny rail sections at the 3, 9, and 12 o’clock positions, allowing you to attach a backup micro red dot or other accessories with ease.

The scope’s 40mm objective lens allows plenty of light to enter, delivering a bright sight picture and a generous field of view so you can maintain awareness of your surroundings while tracking targets. The 30mm tube diameter provides enhanced mounting flexibility and durability, and with the included cantilever mount, you’re fully set up right out of the box.

Adjustment turrets are located on the top and right side of the scope, with the top turret controlling elevation and the right turret handling windage adjustments. These turrets are tool-less, allowing quick and precise changes on the fly, perfect for adapting to shifting wind conditions or varying engagement distances during a game. On the left side, you’ll find the illumination control turret, offering three brightness levels and the choice between red, green, or blue illuminated reticles to suit different lighting environments.

The illumination system is powered by a single CR2032 3V button cell, housed within the illumination turret. Simply unthread the battery cap to install or replace the battery. At the rear of the scope, the magnification adjustment ring allows smooth and easy selection of magnification levels, ranging from 3x for closer engagements all the way up to 9x for long-range spotting and precision shots.

To keep your optic protected, the 3–9X40 BE Illuminated Riflescope is supplied with flip-up lens protectors, safeguarding both the objective and eye lenses when not in use. For maximum protection during gameplay, we recommend pairing this optic with an Airsoft-rated lens protector to prevent damage from incoming BBs.
