If you're after a robust red dot sight which can handle the elements, the Theta Optics Rugged Battle 1x29 Red Dot Sight is one to watch. Part of Theta's new "Rugged" line of reflex optics, the Battle 1x29 is supplied with a raised cantilever mount for 20mm Picatinny rails, making it ready to mount on any 20mm railed platform.
This "Rugged" red dot sight definitely lives up to its name, made from CNC-machined 6061 T6 aluminium with a hard anodised coating. Being fog-resistant, shock-resistant to up to 800G's of force and rated IPX7 waterproof makes this the toughest red dot sight in its price range, perfect for the budget-conscious skirmisher who wants kit which lasts a lifetime.
The Battle 1x29 offers 11 brightness settings for its red dot reticle, adjustable via the large dial on the right side. Elevation and windage adjustments are applied using the capped turrets on the top and left side, respectively, requiring the turret caps to be removed before adjustments are applied. If you need a red dot optic as tough as you are, the Theta Optics Rugged Battle 1x29 Red Dot Sight comes pretty darned close!
