Vector Optics Frenzy FA 1x18x22 Enclosed Red Dot Sight

The Vector Optics FA 1x18x22 Enclosed Red Dot Sight is a compact, real steel-rated sight that can withstand the recoil from 9mm Pistols. This means it is more than capable of holding its zero and staying intact, even when attached to even the most thunderous of GBBRs.

Both the elevation and windage are adjustable on this sight. The screw at the top rear of the sight controls the elevation, whilst the windage adjustment screw can be found on the rear right of the sight body. Also included with the sight is an adjustment tool that allows fine adjustments to be made when zeroing. For this optic, each audible click when adjusting corresponds to 1 MOA.

The glass lens of this red dot sight is 22mm wide and multi-coated in red, allowing users to get a better view of the battlefield around them and reduce light glare, even when aiming down the sights. This helps with transitioning between targets, enhancing target efficiency and precision aiming. The red dot is crisp, clear and concise, allowing you to line up your shots easily, without any blurriness.

The buttons on the left of the sight allow you to turn the red dot on and off as well as scroll through 11 levels of illumination, 2 of them being NV modes. To turn the red dot on and off, press and hold the - (minus) button for three seconds. If you forget to switch off this optic, it has a built-in motion sensor feature that will automatically power off the sight after three minutes when it's not in use. You can then "shake to wake" the optic to turn it back on. You will need to purchase a CR2032 separately to power this red dot sight.

This optic mounts to an Aimpoint ACRO/VOD-R mount, a common footprint in real steel, but less so in Airsoft. There are optic plates and footprint/mount adapters available separately which will allow you to mount this on many optics-ready pistols as well as Picatinny rails.

Other useful information about this red dot is that it is IP67 rated for dust and water, meaning it can be used in all weather conditions. The red dot is 3 MOA, which covers less area on a target and is approximately the height of a lighter at 100 yards (Vector Optics words, not ours).
