Vector Optics SRD 1x20 Red Dot Sight

If you're after a superb quality red dot sight with a modern look for not much money, the Vector Optics SRD 1x20 Red Dot Sight is the one to go for! Part of Vector's Victoptics range of affordable, recoil-rated optics, the SRD is effectively a simplified Maverick, giving you the same elite look and solid build for a few quid less. Out of the box, the SRD comes equipped with a 20mm Picatinny QD high mount but a low mount in the box if you fancy trying this optic on something other than an M4/AR-15, such as a shotgun or AR-36.

The SRD's zero is fully adjustable via the capped turrets, the one on top for elevation and the one on the right to make windage adjustments. To adjust, simply unscrew the cap of either turret and invert it to use it as an adjustment tool. Each audible click is 1 MOA with a 60 MOA range for both windage and elevation, that's precise!

To turn the SRD on, simply press the rubberised button at the front with the "on/off" symbol for 1 second. To turn it off, hold the same button down for 3 seconds. The reticle size is a standard 3 MOA with 8 levels of illumination, which can be brightened via the rearmost button on top and made dimmer with short presses of the on/off key. This allows you to adjust the brilliance of the red dot so it matches the environment around you for a clear sight picture in any ambient lighting conditions. The battery compartment is on the right side of the sight; simply unscrew the cap to install your CR2032 3V Button Cell (not included).

The SRD is rated shock-proof, fog-proof and water resistant and is even capable of withstanding the recoil of many real steel firearms. If you're running a hard-recoiling GBBR and are worried about whether your zero will last, you can be confident that once set, the SRD red dot reticle will stay on target. 

Like the Vector Optics Maverick series, the SRD boasts compatibility with Aimpoint Micro Footprint/Mounting Standard mounts, allowing you to drop it onto a PTS Unity FAST Micro Mount, Hydra-style mount or any other Aimpoint Micro mount. This is great for keeping your loudout looking slick, or getting the perfect height for your choice of face and eye protection.
