Vector Optics Victoptics 2-6x32AOE Compact Rifle Scope

If you need a highly functional rifle scope which isn't ridiculously large, the Vector Optics Victoptics 2-6x32AOE Compact Rifle Scope has your name on it! Packing all the features one would expect from a high-quality rifle scope into a more compact package than many of its rivals, this scope is ideal for setups which prioritise weight reduction without any functional compromises. 

Included in the box are a pair of 25mm monotube scope rings for 20mm Picatinny rails, so you can get set up and shooting right away, assuming your primary is 20mm rail equipped. If you prefer an alternative mount, you also have the option of using aftermarket single-piece scope mounts for 25mm monotubes and both high-profile and low-profile rings. Also included is a pair of flip-up lens caps, which are pre-installed, and a sunshade. The sunshade is installed by removing the front flip-up cover and unscrewing the thread protector, after which you can screw on the sunshade and add the thread protector to the front. 

Surrounding the objective lens at the front of the scope, we have what is known as the "parallax adjustment dial" which allows you to adjust the image visible through the scope for perfect clarity at different ranges. This dial works with the "fast focus dial" at the rear, surrounding the "eyebell", allowing you to set the focus perfectly for your optimum engagement range and apply slight adjustments using the fast focus dial to improve clarity. This is a really nifty feature to find on a compact and affordable optic, providing assurance that your view of the enemy won't be blurry, so you have the best chance of landing that all-important shot. 

Windage and elevation adjustments are applied via the capped adjustment turrets on the right side and top, respectively. To access the dials for adjustment, simply unscrew the caps and adjust away, either by hand or using a flathead screwdriver. With your adjustment complete, tighten the caps down to keep the scope set perfectly and keep dirt and debris clear of the delicate internals. 

The radial magnification adjuster is just behind the adjustment turrets, offering 2-6x magnification to provide great visibility for mid-range engagement. The combination of 2x for close range and 6x for long range and target identification makes this scope a great choice for Airsoft, providing enough magnification to get the job done at various ranges without being excessive and adding extra weight. 

To the rear of the adjustment turrets, we come to the illumination adjustment turret, which offers reticle colour selection and 5 different brightness settings for each colour. This allows you to run the scope illuminated with either a red or green glowing reticle for maximum visibility against different background palettes. The 5 brightness settings allow you to adjust the optic to provide the best possible clarity in any ambient lighting conditions. This turret also serves as the battery compartment; to access it, simply unscrew the cap on the top to install your CR2032 button cell (not included).
