Vector Optics Victoptics S4 1.5-6X28 LPVO Scope

A highly versatile Low Power Variable Optic (LPVO), the S4 boasts a 30mm monotube for broad compatibility with aftermarket mounts, a pair of scope rings for 20mm Picatinny rails included and a red or green illuminated reticle for fast target acquisition in various environments and ambient lighting conditions. 

The magnification adjustment dial surrounds the "eye bell" at the rear, allowing you to adjust between 1.5x and 6x magnification, ideal for a mix of short, medium and long range engagement. Included in the box, we are treated to a "rat tail" style throw lever extension, which can be mounted to the threaded hole in the magnification dial. This provides even faster and easier adjustment whilst wearing gloves, ensuring you can keep pace with the rapidly changing skirmish environment. 

On the left side of the S4 LPVO, we can find the illumination adjustment turret, which offers reticle colour selection and 5 different brightness settings for each colour. This allows you to run the optic illuminated with either a red or green glowing reticle for maximum visibility against different background palettes. The 5 brightness settings allow you to adjust the optic to provide the best possible clarity in any ambient lighting conditions. In regular daylight, you can use the mildot reticle without the need for illumination. 

Windage and elevation adjustments are applied via the adjustment turrets on the right side and top, respectively. These are locking turrets, meaning you need to lift the turret up before turning it and push it down following your adjustment to lock it in place. The turrets provide a satisfying tactile click when turned, ensuring your adjustments are precise. Locking turrets allow you to adjust in the field without needing tools while avoiding accidentally bumping a turret out of place and messing up your zero. 

At the rear, we have what is known as the "fast focus dial", which allows you to adjust image clarity for different ranges and tune the optic to suit your eye. If you're taking a long-range shot and find the image is blurry, turn the dial to sharpen the image. Likewise, if you've been viewing a long-range objective and turn to engage a target at close range, a quick turn of the dial will give you a perfect view of your target.
