Description
If you're a fan of the functionality of Open Reflex sights but want a more modern look, the VictOptics SRD 1x27x39 Eight-Reticle Red Dot Sight belongs on your primary! This updated version of the iconic open reflex sight is constructed from aluminium with steel mounting bolts and features an integral 20mm Picatinny QD rail mount, allowing it to be easily mounted and switched between different 20mm rail-equipped Airsoft guns without needing tools. Being constructed from aluminium alloy makes the sight strong and light, but as always, we recommend using a lens protector when skirmishing.
The SRD requires a single CR2032 button cell (not included) to power it, but thankfully, these are readily available and last ages as long as you remember to turn your sight off after the game! To access the battery compartment and install your battery, simply pull out the battery tray on the right side of the optic, insert your CR2032 facing upwards and slide the tray back in.
Similar to "open" red dot sights, this chunky optic provides multiple reticle options, a whopping 8 choices, all suited to different scenarios and ambient light conditions. Your choice of reticle type can be input via the dial on the rear of the sight, offering options such as a fine dot, chevron or circle dot.
Along with offering a choice of several reticle types, you can also select your preferred illumination colour (either red or green) and brightness level using the buttons on the left side of the sight. We recommend using the lower brightness settings in dark environments and the brighter ones during sunny conditions to keep the reticle crisp and clear.
