Vortex CROSSFIRE II 2 MOA Reflex Sight

If you need a top-tier reflex optic, the Vortex CROSSFIRE II Reflex Sight is the one! A serious piece of kit rated for the recoil of real firearms, the CROSSFIRE II is available in either red dot or green dot flavours, both sporting 11 brightness/intensity settings with 2 for use with night vision devices.

The set includes two mount options: a skeletonised raised mount set to provide a lower 1/3 co-witness with AR-15 iron sights and a low-profile mount ideal for platforms with a raised rail or dropped stock. Being designed for compatibility with the Aimpoint Micro/T1 Footprint means you can also mount the CROSSFIRE II to a Unity, Hydra or Kastle mount and even offset mounts for pairing with a magnified rifle scope.

The reticle itself is a 2MOA dot, meaning it covers 2 inches of an object viewed at 100 meters. This is a fantastic reticle size for Airsoft, allowing you to get on target rapidly with a highly visible reticle while still being able to zero to perfection and take those precision shots.

Adjustments are applied using the recessed turrets on the top and right side. The dials can be turned using the included adjustment tool, a flathead screwdriver or the rim of a rifle cartridge. Each click of the dials moves the reticle by 1MOA, and you have 100MOA of adjustment to play with.

Being designed for real steel rifles, the CROSSFIRE II boasts a multi-coated lens which reduces reflectivity and glare while preventing scratches and encouraging maximum light transmission. The internals are also nitrogen-purged and O-ring-sealed, providing fog-free performance and preventing dust, water and other debris from entering the optic.

Intensity/brightness adjustment is carried out using the large dial on the right side, which also doubles as the battery compartment. To install a CR2032 3V button cell(not included), simply unscrew the cap on the top of the dial. Using brightness setting 5, the CROSSFIRE II boasts an incredible 50,000 hours of battery life. This may cost a bit more than Airsoft optics, but you'll probably save the money back on batteries alone!

Turn the dial to your chosen setting to set the brightness, with an impressive 11 settings to work with. The lowest two are designed for night vision devices, while the highest settings will keep the reticle clear and visible, even in intense sunlight.
