WADSN X400 ULTRA Flashlight w/ Red Laser

The X400U, also known as the X400 ULTRA, is an upgraded version of the well-known X300 tactical pistol flashlight. It combines all the proven functionality of the X300 with a brighter LED output and an integrated, fully adjustable red aiming laser.

The activation switches, referred to as a “rocker” switch, are located at the rear of the flashlight body. These ambidextrous switches can be operated from either side, providing momentary-on activation with a quick forward press, or constant-on by pushing fully either upwards or downwards on either switch.

The battery compartment is located beneath the activation switch and is accessed by pressing down the textured release catch found between the switches and the laser housing on the underside of the light. Once released, the battery compartment can be opened. The WADSN X400 ULTRA is powered by 2x CR123A batteries, compatible with both disposable and rechargeable cells.

Located beneath the laser housing is the mode selector switch, which allows the user to choose between white light, red laser, or a combination of both, all controlled via the rear rocker switch. When the selector is positioned centrally, both the white light and red laser will activate together when the rocker switch is pressed.

Aligning the selector switch with the “LIGHT” marking will activate the white light only, while aligning it with the “LASER” marking will activate the laser only. Rotating the selector 90 degrees to the central position in either direction will disable both the light and laser. We recommend using this lockout position whenever the X400U is stored, as it prevents accidental activation and unnecessary battery drain.

As previously mentioned, the X400U’s aiming laser is fully adjustable and can be zeroed using the grub screw adjusters located on the top and left side of the unit (when mounted to a pistol). These adjustments require a small Allen key, which is included in the box.

Also included are two spare adjustment grub screws, just in case one is lost (they have a habit of vanishing into the carpet), along with a replacement mounting insert designed to provide a tighter fit on pistol-style 20mm Picatinny rails, such as those found on Glock, EU and SIG pistols. While not required in most cases, this insert is recommended if a more secure fit is desired.
