If you're after a GBB SMG with an exciting aesthetic, the WE SMG-8 Gas Blowback SMG is one to watch! Made from strong high density polymer with an alloy outer barrel and subframe, this mean little SMG is inspired by a real-world design we all know and love, but has been spiced up in terms of aesthetics with dynamic, angular vent ports and an extra bottom rail replacing the folding grip of the real thing.

While it definitely stands out in terms of looks, the firing experience this little beast provides is second to none! Its violent GBB action provides immersive recoil and an extremely realistic manual of arms, ideal for realism fans and those who love the dramatic and high payoff of GBBR gameplay.

Included with the SMG-8 is a pair of removable 20mm Picatinny side rails and a 14mm CCW male thread adapter, making it ready to run with 20mm accessories and a tracer unit or suppressor for the stealthy aesthetic. Description

If you're into mag-in-grip SMGs and want to take a walk on the wild side, the WE SMG-8 Gas Blowback SMG has your name on it! Inspired by one of the most popular 21st-century SMG designs we all know and love, the SMG-8 changes up the aesthetic with weight-reducing vent ports, an additional bottom rail and an overall style-up which suits any futuristic loadout!

Shooting this beast will make your jaw drop! The violent recoil, clouds of gas bursting from the ejection port, and realistically functioning controls make the SMG-8 a thrilling primary to run. While you'll have to work much harder than AEG users running realistic 40-round magazines and operating the controls like a real SMG, the payoff for each hit in terms of satisfaction is unbeatable!

Starting at the front, we can find an SMG-7 style birdcage flash hider mounted to 12mm CW male barrel threading beneath. The flash hider suits the styling of the SMG-8 nicely, but a 14mm CCW male thread adapter is generously included in the box, ready for your choice of alternative muzzle device, including tracer units and suppressors!

Moving rearwards, we come to the body of the SMG-8, made from strong fibre-reinforced polymer with an alloy sub-frame at the rear to support the internals. On the bottom, we have a built-in 20mm Picatinny rail, ready for your choice of vertical or angled foregrip. On each side at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions, we have threaded holes for the included 20mm Picatinny side rails, which can be added if you need extra rail space for lasers, tactical flashlights or any other 20mm compatible accessory. For such a compact platform, the SMG-8 is very well catered for when it comes to accessory interfaces!

Up top, we are treated to a full-length 20mm Picatinny rail with aperture iron sights and the front and rear. The sight design is akin to the G36 rifle, with a barley corn style front sight post surrounded by a protective ring and a multi-aperture rear sight with protective wings on either side. Windage and elevation adjustments are applied on the rear sight via the screw on the right side and top, respectively, allowing you to get zeroed in even if you aren't running an optic. Speaking of optics, the top rail allows optical sights of practically any length to be mounted, from red dot sight and magnifier combos to huge rifle scopes!

Moving downwards, we come to the fire controls and pistol grip, laid out in a practically identical fashion to the iconic SMG this platform is inspired by. The fire selector switch is ambidextrous, making it easy to use for left or right-handed shooters, offering a short throw between modes and a textured surface for maximum grip in wet weather. The trigger is a L96/Glock-style safety trigger, requiring the central blade to be pressed before the trigger.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
