This licensed MP5 design includes all the crazy internals you would expect from a CYMA Platinum series AEG, and includes the esteemed Eshooter Kestrel Basic MOSFET, taking the gameplay potential to a whole new level.

The Kestrel Basic ETU offers programmable fire modes including 3-round burst and binary trigger, adjustable pre-cocking, active braking, cycle completion, low battery warning and low/high voltage protection. The other CYMA Platinum internals include 13:1 ratio high-speed gears running on 8mm ball-bearing bushings, a CNC aluminium "silent" ball-bearing piston head, double O-ring cylinder head, quick-change ball-bearing spring guide and a high-speed motor to top it off!

The CM.041H is an impressive platform, combining a compact, room-breaching design with a performance that rivals most assault rifle AEGs in terms of range and accuracy.

Description

If you're after a tactical MP5 platform loaded with authentic trademarks and some of the best internals CYMA has to offer, the CM.041H Gen.2 MP5 AEG is exactly what you need. Building on the success of the original Platinum series, this updated version combines high-speed E-Edition internals with the hugely popular EShooter Kestrel Basic programmable MOSFET/ETU pre-installed straight from the factory.

At the front end, the CM.041H features an MP5 QD flash hider which can be removed in seconds to reveal the threaded tri-lug muzzle beneath. Simply press the textured locking tab, and the flash hider slides free, giving access to the 14mm CCW male thread hidden underneath. Whether you want to fit a suppressor for a sleek covert setup or attach a tracer unit for CQB domination, this MP5 is ready for customisation straight out of the box. Integrated into the front sight block is a sling point ideal for hook-style two or three-point slings.

The front sight keeps the iconic MP5 layout with a protected front post housed inside a sturdy circular guard, pairing perfectly with the adjustable rear rotary drum dioptre sight. The rear sight offers four aperture options for varying ranges and lighting conditions, easily adjusted using the knurled outer drum. Windage adjustment is also possible by loosening the side screw and repositioning the sight within its base. While the iron sights are excellent, the hybrid M-LOK/Picatinny top rail makes this platform ideal for pairing with a red dot sight for faster target acquisition.

The handguard modernises the classic MP5 design with M-LOK slots at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions, complete with a pre-installed MP5K-style vertical grip/hand stop. If you prefer a different setup, the M-LOK interface allows you to fit tactical flashlights, grips or 20mm Picatinny rail sections for compatibility with more traditional accessories.

Above the handguard sits the alloy cocking tube, finished in a clean flat black coating and housing an enlarged modernised charging handle designed for easier use with gloves. Pulling the charging handle rearwards allows it to lock into the classic MP5 safety notch, opening the ejection port to access the adjustable slider-style HOP-up unit. This allows you to fine-tune your backspin settings for your chosen BB weight and maximise range and accuracy.

Running along the top is a hybrid M-LOK/Picatinny rail system, which provides mounting space for mission-essential accessories. M-LOK attachment points at the front allow for lightweight accessory mounting, while the rear 20mm Picatinny rail is perfect for optics. This setup gives the compact MP5 platform the flexibility and adaptability expected from more modern rifle platforms.

The receiver keeps the unmistakable MP5 silhouette while adding several modern ergonomic improvements. Both the fire selector and magazine release are fully ambidextrous, allowing rapid manipulation from either side. The selector features a short 45-degree throw for lightning-fast transitions between safe and fire, while avoiding the uncomfortable pressure points common on older MP5 selector designs.

The flat-faced trigger further enhances rapid semi-auto shooting, complete with a small lower ledge to help maintain consistent trigger finger placement. On the right side of the receiver, the ejection port provides access to the HOP-up when the charging handle is locked rearward.

As part of the Gen.2 licensed update, the receiver now proudly carries official H&K trademarks. The iconic H&K logo and MP5 markings can be found on the left side of the receiver, while the right side features licensed Heckler & Koch trademark engravings for added realism.

Magazine handling is extremely intuitive thanks to both the classic ambidextrous paddle release and the additional AR-style button release positioned exactly where M4 users would expect it. The enlarged paddle extension also makes magazine changes easier, regardless of hand size or glove use.

The pistol grip uses textured fibre-reinforced polymer construction, which feels exceptionally solid in the hand, with no flex, wobble or creaking. The build quality throughout the platform feels robust and premium, closely replicating the feel of the real firearm.

Unlike traditional MP5 or MP5K setups, the CM.041H uses an M4-style buffer tube and adjustable stock system. The stock offers five adjustment positions, allowing you to tailor the length of pull, whether you run lightweight gear or a full plate carrier setup. The compact rubberised butt plate improves shoulder grip while maintaining excellent manoeuvrability in tight CQB environments.

The battery compartment is housed within the buffer tube and accessed by removing the stock. Inside, you'll find a Deans connector ready for your chosen battery setup. For the best fit and performance, an 11.1V 600mAh PDW-style stick battery is recommended.

One of the standout features of the CM.041H is the integrated Kestrel Basic ETU/MOSFET system. This advanced unit offers adjustable pre-cocking across six levels, binary trigger mode, 3-round burst functionality, active braking, cycle completion, low battery warning and both low and high voltage cutoff protection. Whether you want blisteringly fast semi-auto response or burst-fire capability, the Kestrel system gives you impressive flexibility straight out of the box.

Internally, the CM.041H is powered by the latest CYMA Platinum Gen.2 V2 gearbox, built for both speed and durability. The reinforced gearbox shell features upgraded bearing seats designed to withstand prolonged aggressive use, while CNC 13:1 high-speed gears combined with a short-stroke setup produce exceptional trigger response and rapid cycling speeds. A high torque neodymium motor ties everything together for snappy, efficient and reliable performance.

Additional internal upgrades include a CNC aluminium silent piston and cylinder head set, double O-ring air seal components, a CNC-machined air nozzle, full steel tooth piston rack, 8mm steel bearings and a quick-change spring guide. A 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel and updated HOP-up design further improve accuracy and consistency. With two magazines included in the box, this MP5 arrives ready for action with very little left to upgrade.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.

Very happy with my purchase, items wanted a modern mp5 and have been looking at this one for a while both at patrol base and another shop decided on patrol base due to the price. Yes its a cyma but I have cymas specnas TMs DEs I wo t go into detail check out you tube and base TV for detail. Ut I am loving it 11.1 its rapid, solid build nice weight and mags are perfect, swapped the stock for a pts for more battery space ,added some rails and a silencer looking forward to fielding it, so far tests in the garden have been impressive.
