Description

If you love lightning-fast looks with the performance to back it up, the EMG Strike Industries Sentinel M4/AR-15 HPA; GRIDLOK® LITE should be in your sights! A full metal build equipped with licensed Strike Industries furniture, the Sentinel is designed around fast handling, and its internals lean heavily into this!

Inside this custom EMG build, the usual AEG gearbox has been replaced with the Inferno Gen.2 HPA Engine from Wolverine Airsoft, a hybrid open/closed bolt engine which pumps performance up to the top-tier. Naturally, you'll need an airline, HPA bottle and a regulator to use this beast, but once set up, you'll get an adjustable rate of fire between 5 and an incredible 35 rounds per second and adjustable muzzle energy from 1-3 joules, giving you maximum performance and tuning versatility.

Also inside is a 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel, a great enhancement which improves accuracy and provides a slight FPS boost. If you're a fan of the stylish Strike aesthetic but want the performance perks of HPA, the EMG Strike Industries Sentinel M4/AR-15 HPA; GRIDLOK® LITE is a fine choice!

Starting at the front of this platform, we can find an EMG replica of the Strike Industries Oppressor LITE Universal Blast Shield. This aluminium muzzle device gives the front end an extremely aggressive style and also creates a booming muzzle report every time you shoot it. If that doesn't impress you, underneath you will find 14mm CCW threading, ready for a tracer or suppressor.

Behind that, we get to the main attraction, the GRIDLOK LITE handguard. This Strike Industries masterpiece is built from CNC-machined aluminium, ensuring a rock-solid and reliable fit. When it comes to mounting options, you’re well covered. The handguard features a Picatinny rail along the top and M-LOK slots on the sides and bottom. The ports on the top and offset angles are styled similarly to M-LOK, but unfortunately, they are not.

The handguard includes QD sling points on both sides, along with officially licensed Strike Industries and GRIDLOK trademarks. These markings are laser-engraved, ensuring they won’t wear away through regular use and remain far more visible than standard printed trades.

At the top of the handguard is a recessed flip-up front iron sight. When not in use, it folds neatly into the handguard for a streamlined profile. Its elevation can be adjusted using the screw at the front. This works in tandem with the King Arms rear folding battle sight, which offers adjustable windage and two aperture sizes to suit various engagement ranges.

The charging handle can be pulled to open the ejection port and lock back the mock bolt, granting you access to the HOP-up unit. Once you have adjusted your HOP, you can press the bolt catch release to send the mock bolt back with a satisfying metal-on-metal "clank"!

Moving on to the receiver, it follows the standard M4 layout with all the controls being exactly where you'd expect. The magazine release is situated on the right side above the magazine well, allowing for quick reloads on the battlefield. And the fire selector is on the left side above the pistol grip, with a choice of SAFE, SEMI and AUTO fire modes.

The top of the receiver features a 20mm Picatinny rail, ready for a red dot sight, scope, or other aiming devices to be fitted. The folding rear iron sight is mounted to the rear of the rail, but can be removed if you're using an optic or prefer to spray and pray!

The trigger of this rifle boasts a classic curved design. This is a comfortable option, perfect for long rounds of full auto when you're trying to trim down the shrubbery at an outdoor skirmish. Underneath the trigger, you'll find a standard extended trigger guard. This gives you plenty of finger room, even if you are skirmishing with thick gloves.

The pistol grip is known as the Strike Industries "MilSim" Enhanced Slim Grip. Its slim and low-profile design accurately mimics the look and feel of a real pistol grip, avoiding the extra chunky feel of standard AEG grips. It has a textured crackle design on both flanks with a horizontal line design on the front and rear. The 25-degree angled design makes it extremely comfortable to use, especially in modern shooting stances with the stock fully collapsed.

Protruding from the bottom of the pistol grip, we can find the HPA connector and JST battery connector, designed for a compact HPA-style battery, which is installed inside the pistol grip. To access the battery compartment, simply unscrew the two screws on the bottom of the grip to remove the baseplate. We recommend a 7.4V 250mAh LiPo battery in Micro Block configuration.

Moving rearwards, we come to the EMG ALPHA Combat Ready Stock. It is made from nylon-reinforced polymer with a rubber butt plate and a low-profile cheek rest for a solid cheek weld. It features sling loop cut-outs and a spacious battery compartment that fits most nunchuck, crane-style batteries. Naturally, you won't need the battery compartment in this HPA build, but it can still be used for storing accessory batteries, tactical snacks, tools and maintenance supplies.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
