  • High-density polymer build
  • Pre two-tone Blue & Pink options
  • Licensed by Colt & Daniel Defense
This AEG is available in Pre Two-Tone Blue or Pink. If you order either of these colour options, you don't need to wait for our Two-tone service, and you don't need UKARA or a VCRA Defence to order.

Whether you're fresh to Airsoft or a veteran looking for a lightweight, "easy mode" primary, the King Arms Colt® x Daniel Defense® MK18 Sportline AEG is a fine choice. Made almost entirely from rock-solid high-density polymer, this MK18 AEG boasts proven internals with wide compatibility and an incredibly light, agile build, tipping the scales at a mere 1.7KG, ideal for those with less physical strength or those who like to fight easy!

On the outside, this budget-friendly build boasts licensed trademarks across the design, from both Daniel Defence® and Colt®, thanks to official licensing from EMG. These markings perfectly match US military-issued MK18 MOD.1 rifles, with a Colt-marked lower receiver and a DD-marked rail system. Airsofters love licensed trades, but they're usually only found on AEGs at twice this price!

Inside, this AEG is based around the proven Version 2 gearbox design, with an alloy shell, 18:1 ratio steel gears and a quick-change spring guide for easy maintenance. An in-line MOSFET cranks up trigger response for rapid double taps, and a tightbore inner barrel enhances accuracy with high-quality BBs. If you're new to the game, seeking the iconic MK18 in beginner-friendly flavour, you've found it with the King Arms Colt® x Daniel Defense® MK18 Sportline AEG!

Quick Start Guide

  • Charge your Battery: We recommend a 9.6V 1600mAh NiMH battery for this AEG. Please note: a battery and charger are NOT included with this product. Plug your charger into a 3-Plug UK wall socket and connect the mini-Tamiya connector on your battery to the corresponding connector on your NiMH charger. Your charger will cut off when your battery reaches capacity, but you should never leave it on charge unattended. We recommend using a Battery Safe Charging Bag for charging and storing your battery.

(Battery capacity mAh / charge rate mA) x 1.5 = Hours to charge

  • Fill your speed loader: Open the hatch on the top and pour BBs in. Press the button on the side to deploy the thumb plunger. A speed loader is required to load the included medium-capacity magazine. If you don't have one, find them here: Airsoft Speedloaders
  • Load your magazine: Position your speedloader to align with the port on the top of your magazine. Holding the speedloader firmly against the magazine, push the thumb plunger repeatedly until it becomes firm.
  • Put on your Eye Protection: Safety when using Airsoft guns should be your number 1 priority. Always wear eye protection before loading your AEG and ensure any spectators are also protected.
  • Connect your battery: Remove the butt plate from your stock by pressing the tabs on either side, then lifting it free. Inside the central tube, you'll find the min-Tamiya connector. Position each of the cell groups of your battery inside the tubes on either side of the stock, then connect the Mini-Tamiya connectors. With your wiring neatly tucked in, replace the butt plate.
  • Insert your magazine: With the fire selector switch set to "SAFE" and the barrel pointed in a safe direction with your finger off the trigger, insert your magazine by pushing it up into the magazine well.
  • You're now ready to shoot! - Never shoot at animals or humans who aren't in an Airsoft skirmish

About the Colt® x Daniel Defense® MK18 Sportline AEG

Starting at the tip of the alloy outer barrel, we are met with a polymer birdcage flash hider with 14mm CCW male threading beneath. The common 14mm CCW male threading allows alternative flash hiders, tracers or suppressors to be mounted, a key feature for customisation.

After the flash hider, we come to the MK18 handguard, equipped with 20mm Picatinny rails at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions, giving you plenty of space to fit 20mm Picatinny accessories. The lower section of the handguard can be removed to allow an M203 grenade launcher to be mounted, just like the real thing. Running along the length of the handguard, we have licensed Daniel Defense trademarks, proudly displaying the endorsement of the manufacturer behind the real MK18 rifle.

The receiver also features a 20mm Picatinny rail, allowing red dot sights or scopes to be mounted with ease. The MK18 has a set of polymer flip-up aperture iron sights pre-installed on this rail, which are fully adjustable. These can either serve as primary sights or be removed, as they are rail-mounted.

Next up, we reach the receiver, featuring licensed Colt trademarks on the left side of the magazine well, perfectly matching the real steel military-issue MK18 build, which is based on Colt receivers. The magazine release is on the right side of the magazine well and is accessible for a right-handed user with their trigger finger or by a lefty using their off-hand thumb.

The fire selector lever can be found just above the pistol grip, on the left side of the AEG, providing 3 modes of fire: SAFE, SEMI, and AUTO, with a 90-degree throw between each.

Pulling back the charging handle, at the rear of the receiver, provides access to the rotary HOP-up adjuster. The HOP-up allows you to adjust the amount of backspin applied to your BBs and extend range with heavier ammo, seeking the flattest possible trajectory.

The pistol grip is an M16A2/M4A1 style pistol grip, featuring diamond checkering on either side and linear texture on the back to provide excellent gripping qualities, whether you wear gloves or not. The finger ridge helps you keep hold of the rifle when held in a single hand.

The Crane stock features a pair of QD sling sockets, one on each side, allowing QD sling swivels to be fitted. Conventional sling slots are also present for those who prefer the old-fashioned way. The butt plate is also made from grippy rubber, ensuring your MK18 doesn't slip off your shoulder at a critical moment.
