Based on the real GP-30 muzzle-loaded underslung grenade launcher, which entered Russian service in the early 1990s, the King Arms replica boasts a full metal build, authentic Cyrillic markings and keeps the unique muzzle-loading functionality of the real GP-30 despite being capable of chambering standard 40mm Airsoft MOSCART shells.

If you're running an AK-74M or AK-10x series rifle, this is the perfect grenade launcher for your build, but also makes a fantastic stand-in for its predecessor, the Cold War-era GP-25. Description

If you've been after the perfect grenade launcher for your AK build, King Arms has you covered with the GP-30 MOSCART Grenade Launcher! A full metal build with plenty of steel parts and a realistic, functional ladder sight, the GP-30 is the perfect add-on to an AK-74M or AK-105, but could also serve as a GP-25 stand-in for Cold War-era AK setups without raising too many eyebrows!

The GP-30 is designed to chamber standard Airsoft MOSCART shells, loaded through the muzzle by holding down the catch on the right side, then releasing it when the shell is inserted. This matches the loading procedure of a real GP-30, giving you full-fat realism to go with the superb quality build.

The set includes steel mounting hardware for AK-74 & AK-105-length setups, but won't fit AKS-74U rifles. Also included is a detailed dummy cartridge head which can be installed when you want the launcher look but don't want to run MOSCARTs. The ladder sight is located on the right side, a simple open sight with a fixed front post which can be angled to lob shots out to long range. This might not work well with most Airsoft MOSCARTs, but it is nevertheless an essential part of the realistic GP-30 build.

When it comes to controls, the GP-30 is remarkably simple, just like the AK itself. The safety catch takes the form of a rotary lever on the left side. When facing upwards, the safety is on, and the trigger is locked. When it faces horizontally, you're ready to shoot.

The shell insertion/release button is also on the left side. To load a MOSCART, hold the button down and drop your MOSCART in. To unload, hold the button down, then push the silver shell release assist tab (also on the left) to release your shell. Many Russian-style launchers available in Airsoft use specific shells and can't use standard MOSCARTs; the fact that King Arms has designed around this is very impressive and great for those who already own a pile of MOSCARTs!

The stubby pistol grip at the rear adds some much-needed ergonomics to the setup, providing you with a place to grip your rifle once the handguard is obstructed with the launcher itself. This grip is cut down to provide clearance for 7.62x39mm style AK mags to be inserted without impinging, ensuring you still have a wide variety of mags to choose from when you've got this beast mounted.

Included in the set is a dummy cartridge head, designed to perfectly match real Russian GP-30 grenades. This means that if you don't fancy running MOSCARTs, you can install the cartridge head for a realistic look or use the GP-30 as a battery compartment for a front-wired setup. While launching MOSCARTs is its best use, this versatile GP-30 replica has the realistic look needed to complete your AK grenadier setup!

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
