LCT LGM-VAL AEG

The AS VAL is a silent and deadly Assault Rifle, designed from the ground up to be the ultimate tool for Spetsnaz/Special Forces operators when performing covert tasks. It is designed around an imposing integral suppressor and delivers a unique 9x39mm round at a high rate of fire to around 300m in the real world.

This Airsoft replica has had no expense spared in attention to external details, and features a Stamped Steel receiver, a process used in the manufacture of real-world AK family firearms. This process leaves an oily residue on the Steel from the machining, for a genuine smell and feel that reinforces realism and quality.

The integrated suppressor is also made from Steel, bringing the rifle to a satisfying and balanced total weight of 3.5KG. The handguard and pistol grip are finished in matte black, with a crackle-textured coating to be as realistic as possible and provide good gripping qualities and ease of use.

External features of the rifle include an SVD-style dovetail mount, which is ideal for railed side mounts or compatible optics like the PSO-1 and others. If you're going for a Russian-style scope, make sure you choose one which does not have a battery compartment on the bottom of the scope body, as this will prevent installation on the VAL. 

The iron sights are up front, mounted to the top of the suppressor. These are AK-style tangent iron sights, with adjustable elevation by pressing the drums on the rear sight and sliding them back and forth to raise and lower the notch. These are great sights for skirmishing, providing an open sight picture which makes tracking moving targets far easier.

The magazine release is a traditional ambidextrous paddle design, centrally placed for ease of use for right or left-handed players. The safety lever is designed to mimic the AK rifle, allowing those familiar with AKs to easily transition to its stealthy sibling. Push the safety down to unlock the trigger, and sweep it up to make the platform safe.

The fire selector is a separate lever, just like the real thing. Located behind the trigger, this switch allows you to select either semi-automatic fire or full auto. Push it from right to left to select full auto, and left to right to select semi-auto.

At the rear, we have a discrete custom touch, taking the form of a FAL PARA / Galil-style stock. This is a similar design to the real AS VAL stock, but it is wider, stronger, and slightly more comfortable. The stock can be folded to the right side of the rifle by bracing your thumb on the stock base, then lifting the stock to defeat the folding mechanism. To redeploy the stock, repeat the same process, bracing the thumb on the stock base and lifting the stock, before folding it back into place.

The dust cover can be removed like any AK, but this will only be useful for disassembly and deep maintenance. The battery compartment is hidden inside the integral suppressor, and is accessed by pressing the button at the front-underside of the handguard, rotating the suppressor 90 degrees clockwise and pulling forward to remove it. 

Connect your battery to the Deans and reverse the process to replace the suppressor. Internally, the rifle features a CNC aluminium piston head and cylinder head, as well as 9mm bearings and a 22,000RPM motor.

Included in the box is a stubby style polymer AS VAL magazine, which is a mid-cap design, holds a total of 50 rounds and is coloured to match the pistol grip/handguard. The AS VAL is a truly unique platform, and has been faithfully reproduced to an eye-watering standard in the form of the LCT AS VAL AEG.

Special Instructions

When choosing an optic for the LCT VSS and AS platforms, ensure your optic does not have a battery compartment which protudes from the bottom of the scope monotube. This will interfere with the VSS/AS top cover and prevent the optic from being mounted. An example of an optic which does NOT fit due to this issue is the S&T PSO-1 4x Scope.
