If you want your plate carrier to look more realistic without weighing it down with weighted plates, the Novristch Ventilated Hex Plates will do the trick! These mock SAPI plates provide no ballistic protection but instead, help keep the shape of Airsoft plate carriers and make them appear far more realistic when worn.
Being a Novritsch design, these aren't your usual polymer or foam mock plates; these plates are designed with hexagonal vent ports throughout the design to assist with airflow and reduce overall weight. The front of the plate is constructed from polymer and the rear from soft foam, allowing for comfortable wear even in an unpadded plate carrier.
Plate carriers, in general, may not be the best thing to wear to stay cool, but if you are going to run one in the heat of summer, these plates should help keep the temperature a bit more manageable!
