PTS Syndicate MTEK Flux Helmet

THE PTS Syndicate MTEK FLUX Helmet is the officially licensed replica of MTEK's FLUX Carbon Helmet, designed for the 21st Century operator. The name Flux is an acronym for Future, Lightweight, Undercut, eXpandable and is derived from the Latin "fluxus", meaning "flow". The design of the helmet is intended to follow the natural contours of the head offering the wearer unparalleled comfort and stability, even over extended periods of wear.

The main shell of the helmet is constructed from a glass-fiber reinforced ABS material and feels reassuringly solid in the hand. At the front of the helmet is a tough polymer shroud with an alloy 'Wilcox' style mount plate - sturdy enough for NVG setups and action cameras alike. You also have the option of installing the two supplied bungee retention cords (for NVG setups). To the left and right sides you'll find polymer rail mounts, moulded in the popular M-LOK system, allowing the attachment of lights, lasers or communications equipment. The helmet also comes supplied with several velcro patches, giving you plenty of options for displaying your favourite patches and mounting pouches or marker lights. Please be aware; the velcro panels do not come pre-attached to the helmet, however instructions showing the correct placement of the panels are supplied. Rounding out the external details you get a choice of three colours, in a very high quality, non-reflective finish.

On the inside there are plenty of extremely comfortable foam inserts (which are reconfigurable) and, along with the fully adjustable chin strap system, this helmet should fit almost all head sizes. Like the real MTEK FLUX, the FLUX accessory rails and NVG mount are secured by a 'bolt-less' system. This means that none of the hardware used to secure the rails and NVG mount penetrate the shell of the helmet, which in turn eliminates the possibility of any weak points at those mount locations.
