Swiss Arms CIRAS MOLLE Plate Carrier

If you prefer a plate carrier with extra protection, the Swiss Arms CIRAS MOLLE Plate Carrier is a fine choice. Inspired by the Eagle Industries CIRAS (Combat Integrated Releasable Armor System) in its Maritime version, this is a plate/soft body armour carrier combo, offering more coverage than modern low-profile plate carriers, ideal for skirmishers seeking more coverage and protection from incoming BBs.

The CIRAS features MOLLE webbing loops on all sides, the front and the rear, allowing you to deck it out with pouches, hydration bladders, holsters and other MOLLE-compatible gear to outfit it for your playstyle and the mission at hand. The set includes 5 x M4/AR-15 mag pouches, 2 x pistol mag pouches, a utility pouch, an admin pouch and a radio pouch, all of which can be positioned where you prefer or removed entirely if not needed.

On the front of the CIRAS, just under the wearer's neck, we have a feature you hopefully won't ever need or use. This is the quick-release handle, designed to rapidly disassemble the CIRAS in an emergency, whether it is for medical access or a situation where the weight of the carrier would put the user at risk (unplanned submersion into a body of water, for example). We recommend avoiding using the quick-release handle in all but a worst-case scenario, as the CIRAS cannot be reassembled as quickly as it can be disassembled!

Each shoulder features admin routing for hydration hoses and comm cables, allowing you to deck your rig out and keep everything tidy. The rear also features a drag handle, a convenient way to carry your rig from the car park to the safe zone, designed in the real world for dragging stricken soldiers to cover.

Special Instructions

We do NOT recommend using the quick-release handle of the CIRAS unless you're experiencing a medical emergency. This does not work like modern QR buckles; it is designed strictly for emergencies and will fully disassemble the vest to a point where it cannot be reassembled quickly. Reassembling the vest after the handle is pulled can be quite the chore: you have been warned!
