Theta Optics 3-9x50 Riflescope with Mounts

Whether for engagement or simply identifying targets at long range, a variable magnification optic can be a serious force multiplier in outdoor environments. The Theta Optics 3-9x50 Riflescope with Mounts offers 3-9x adjustable zoom and an extremely wide field of view thanks to its 50mm objective lens. 

The set includes a pair of 20mm Picatinny scope rings for 25mm/1-inch monotubes, meaning you have everything you need to mount the 3-9x50 scope on a 20mm Picatinny rail straight out of the box. The reticle itself is the "Mildot" type, offering a fine crosshair with dots along each axis. The dots are designed for on-the-fly windage and range compensation, and the mildot reticle is widely regarded as the best combination of functionality and simplicity. 

Magnification adjustments can be applied via the radial dial at the front of the eyebell, offering continuous adjustment between 3x zoom and 9x. We recommend sticking to 3x for engagement so you can keep an eye on where your shot lands and use higher magnification for spotting and target identification. Having a bit more zoom is very handy for long-range platforms, allowing you to quickly verify that the target is in fact on the enemy team and even guide your teammates in using a radio, just like real snipers. 

The windage and elevation adjustment turrets are in the centre of the nitrogen-purged monotube, taking the form of capped turrets with toolless adjusters beneath. To access the adjusters, simply unscrew the cap, and there you go! The adjusters can be turned by hand, but also include a slot in the design for an adjustment tool if you prefer. With your adjustment complete, replace the caps to keep dust and debris out.
