Tokyo Marui VZ61 Scorpion Mod.M AEP

The weapon itself is constructed mostly from Polymer due to Japanese laws, but don't let this put you off: because they can only use polymer they've spent lots of time perfecting the weapons and making them as accurate as possible. The weapon features a Polymer Stock. Grip, Magazine, Receiver, Hand-guard and Rails, with an Alloy Outer Barrel, Flash Hider and Internals. The weapon features the standard black colour, but with attractive gold highlights on the outer barrel, trigger and mock bolt cover.

Because the pistol is based on the original Vz61 all parts and accessories designed for that system are compatible, meaning that the magazines can be swapped between the old an newer versions. If you're looking to upgrade your existing VZ but don't want to buy more mags you don't need to worry.

The weapon features all the traditional features you'd expect to come from an AEG / AEP, with an adjustable hop-up unit, which is adjustable to support a wide range of BB weights, and adds spin to the BB to add range and accuracy.

The problem with the original Vz61 was its lack of customisation options, other than a replacement magazine you didn't have many options. With this variant of the weapon customisation has been taken to the next level, with plenty of rail space there is tonnes of room for attaching aftermarket grips, sights, launchers and more. The top of the weapon features two rails, a front and rear 20mm RIS / RAS Rail, the most common type of rail connection used for sights and scopes, with the lower featuring an additional 20mm rail for attaching grips, bi-pods and more. The hand guard also features side M-LOK points for attaching more modern attachments which support the platform, commonly seen on newer torches and lighting systems. The customisation does not stop at the rail system, with the weapon's flash hider also being removable allowing access to a 14mm CCW thread for attaching a range of aftermarket suppressors and tracer units allowing you to give your weapon a touch of personal flair.

Instead of the traditional over-the-top folding stock Marui' have opted to replace this with a side folding stock which locks securely into place, both in the open and closed position, for transport or for use in tight CQB environments to make the weapon highly adaptable for any given situation.

The weapon features an enlarged charging handle for glove users, along with an enlarged trigger guard and textured magazine to prevent slippage. The magazine release button is also of a large enough size to be used by the users thumb with ease, even when wearing gloves.

The weapon features the same tried and tested method of battery storage seen in the original VZ61, with a twisting nub on the base of the grip which then releases the cover to reveal the battery storage compartment. Marui have thought of everything, even including a handy tab which can be pulled down to quickly and easily release the battery making it easier to remove.

This weapon is perfect for those Airsoft Skirmishers who are looking for an amazing CQB weapon, which will outperform other weapons in its class.
