The ever-beloved Maverick red dot sight is back and better than ever! This time, it comes with a QD mount and a shake-to-wake/auto turn-off feature, making sure you don't go through CR2032 batteries like it's nobody's business. This sight offers various illumination levels, as well as fully adjustable windage and elevation, ensuring you have laser-like accuracy whilst on the battlefield.
The Maverick-II Gen2 comes with an AR-15 height over bore QD mount pre-attached, but it is also compatible with any Aimpoint Micro Footprint mounts like the Hydra, the ever-popular PTS Unity FAST Micro mount. The sight also includes flip-up lens covers, so you can keep your precious baby safe whilst travelling to your skirmish site, just remember to use a lens protector whilst on the battlefield though!

Description
If you like premium optics but aren't interested in spending ridiculous money on something just for the sake of it, the Vector Optics Maverick-II Gen2 is the perfect middle ground! Its style is clearly inspired by the iconic T1/T2 micro red dot sight. Out of the box, it comes equipped with a 20mm Picatinny QD high mount. There is also a low mount in the box if you fancy trying this optic on something other than an M4/AR-15, such as a shotgun or AR-36.
The Maverick-II Gen2's zero is fully adjustable via the rotating turrets, the one on top for elevation and the one on the right to make windage adjustments. These turrets can be adjusted quickly and easily with minimal fuss, perfect for making on-the-go adjustments. Each audible click is 1 MOA with a 60 MOA range for both windage and elevation, that's precise!
The red dot size is a standard 3 MOA with 6 levels of illumination, denoted by the numbers on the large wheel on the right side of the sight. This allows you to adjust the brilliance of the red dot so it matches the environment around you. Between the number settings on the illumination dial, the red dot will be off. The battery compartment is inside the illumination adjustment turret; simply unscrew the cap to install your CR2032 3V Button Cell (not included).
The Maverick-II Gen2 is rated shock-proof, fog-proof and water resistant (IPX4) and is even capable of withstanding the recoil of many real steel firearms. If you're running a hard-recoiling GBBR and are worried about whether your zero will last, you can be confident that once set, the Maverick red dot reticle will stay put!
One of the best aspects of the Maverick design is its compatibility with Aimpoint Micro Footprint/Mounting Standard mounts, allowing you to drop it onto a PTS Unity FAST Micro Mount, Hydra-style mount or any other Aimpoint Micro mount. This is great for keeping your loudout looking slick, or getting the perfect height for your choice of face and eye protection.
