Vector Optics Sentinel 4-16x50 GenII Rifle Scope

If you're serious about long-range Airsoft, the Vector Optics Sentinel 4-16x50 GenII Rifle Scope is built to deliver. Included in the box is a pair of high-profile alloy scope rings, allowing the Sentinel to be mounted straight onto any replica equipped with a 20mm Picatinny rail. The 30mm aluminium monotube is also compatible with aftermarket 30mm scope rings if you prefer a different mounting height.

Windage and elevation are adjusted via the locking turrets on the right-hand side and top of the scope. To adjust windage, simply lift the turret, rotate it to the desired setting and press it back down to lock your adjustment in place. Elevation is adjusted in the same tool-free manner, making it quick and easy to fine-tune your zero, whether you're setting up before a game or making adjustments in the field.

Unlike most Airsoft scopes, the Sentinel also features a zero-stop elevation turret. This prevents the dial from rotating beyond its intended range, helping to avoid over-adjustment and protecting the scope's internal mechanism. A built-in revolution indicator on the rear of the turret lets you keep track of how many full rotations have been applied to the elevation adjustment, a feature more commonly found on precision optics designed for long-range shooting.

On the left-hand side of the scope you'll find the parallax adjustment turret, allowing you to fine-tune the image for different engagement distances. Adjusting the parallax helps keep both the reticle and your target sharp, reducing apparent reticle movement as your eye position changes and providing a clearer sight picture across a range of distances.

Also built into the left-hand turret is the reticle illumination control. The illuminated VSE-4 reticle offers six brightness settings, allowing the fine 0.3 MOA centre dot to remain clearly visible in a variety of lighting conditions. The CR2032 battery compartment is located beneath the turret cap and can be accessed using a flat tool (battery not included).

At the rear of the scope, the textured magnification ring allows smooth adjustment between 4x and 16x zoom, while the fast-focus eyepiece lets you quickly sharpen both the reticle and target image to suit your eyesight. Both controls feature deep texturing for excellent grip, even when wearing gloves or operating in wet conditions.

Special Instructions

The adjustment turrets of the Sentinel work differently from most Airsoft scopes. The turret on the right side (windage) is a locking turret and must be pulled out slightly before adjustments are applied. The turret on the top (elevation) features a zero-stop function, which means it can only be turned one way (counterclockwise).
