Description
The Victoptics CRL 1x22 is a nitrogen-filled tube style RDS with 11 levels of brightness adjustment and a super crisp 3-4 MOA dot. The controls to zero the sight are protected by threaded caps, removing them reveals a flat head adjustment screw which can be adjusted in small increments, providing a tactile click as it is adjusted. The shielded design of the adjustment screws ensures they will hold the same position and cannot be inadvertently knocked or moved out of position. The Victoptics CRL also boasts fog proofing, waterproofing and shock proofing, owed to its well-sealed design and the filling of the tube with nitrogen gas. Included on the sight itself is a Picatinny mount, allowing a low mount position as used on an AK gas block or G36 rail. Also included is a Picatinny riser mount, which can be attached to the CRL in order to raise the height over bore, allowing the use of large facemasks or a higher cheek weld. The riser mount is skeletonised, keeping the additional weight to a minimum. The 22mm objective lens size may seem small, but the smaller sight means less of your peripheral vision is obscured, giving you better situational awareness and preventing "tunnel vision". The sight is powered by a single CR2032 battery (not included), which is housed inside the brightness adjustment dial. Simply unscrew the cap with your fingers or a coin and pop the battery in, super simple and easy to do in the field, if necessary.
The optic is constructed primarily from Aluminium, with steel screws used in the mount. Included in the box is a cleaning cloth, an Allen key for mounting the sight, rubber lens protectors and an aluminium Picatinny riser mount.
