The Cylinder Head is one of the foremost components inside your Cylinder, and sits between the Piston and Air Nozzle to provide a (hopefully) good air-seal between the walls of the Cylinder, but also be possible to remove for maintenance/replacement.. A sudden and unexplainable loss of output FPS can usually be explain by a poor air-seal, and this component is a good place to start your investigation. The Air Nozzle should be able to freely move on the end of the Cylinder Head, and there should be a good seal between the edges of the Cylinder Head and Cylinder. Different Cylinder Heads have different degrees of effectiveness, and generally a double O-Ring is the go-to choice. Be sure to purchase the correct Cylinder Head for your gearbox.
