If you need the fastest minigun on the market, for whatever reason, the Classic Army M133 Mini Vulcan Rotary Minigun AEG should be your next buy! The ideal companion to a juggernaught-style loadout, the Mini Vulcan follows on from Classic Army's M134 Vulcan and M132 Microgun, offering a dual battery power source which is far more convenient than previous gas/electric hybrid and HPA-fuelled options.

A true statement on the Airsoft battlefield, the Mini Vulcan offers two firing modes, but semi-automatic is definitely not one of them! Choose from a respectable 1500RPM (25 RPS) firing rate or a downright devastating 3000RPM (50 RPS), with continuous feeding from its internal 2000-round magazine. Trust us, having seen two of these bad boys operating at HALO MILL: Proving Grounds on a single day, you do NOT want to get in the way of the Mini Vulcan on the field!

Description

Check the "Special Instructions" below BEFORE using your Mini Vulcan

If you're all about firepower, the Classic Army M133 Mini Vulcan Rotary Minigun AEG will bring a smile to your face! A 4-barrelled rotary minigun powered by 2 11.1V LiPo batteries (not included), the Mini Vulcan spits out an immense 50 rounds per second in its full speed mode, feeding continuously from its internal 2000-round magazine.

Each barrel has its own independent HOP-up unit, allowing you to shoot either laser straight or with an area-denying spread, an incredible tool for fire supremacy on the field which is practically unrivalled. Whether you're running a juggernaut-inspired loadout or a Mac in Predator-inspired kit, the Classic Army M133 Mini Vulcan Rotary Minigun AEG is  a serious force multiplier!

Starting at the front, we can see the four barrels, complete with reinforcement ribs to keep them stable as they spin at high speed. Each barrel features 14mm CCW male threading at the tip, hidden beneath a thread protector, allowing you to mount tracer units to each barrel and give the enemy team a dazzling lightshow. If you want to see what this looks like, check out the attached video!

The magazine is positioned between the barrels, an integral spring-loaded mag which feeds continuously until empty. To load the magazine, squeeze the tabs in the centre of the barrels, then pull the cap, spring and follower out entirely. With this done, you can fill the Mini Vulcan up to the fill line inside, then replace the follower, spring and cap. If you're going to be dry-firing the Mini Vulcan, we suggest taking extra care to ensure the magazine is fully empty before attempting it.

Following the barrels back, we reach the receiver with its chainsaw-style front grip, an ideal way to handle this hefty beast and lay down rounds from a hip-firing position. On each side of the chainsaw grip, we are treated to 20mm Picatinny rails, ready for accessories to be added. We recommend a laser aiming module if permitted at your local site, or a Runcam if you want to record the opposition running for cover!

On the bottom of the receiver, we can take note of the integrated stand, taking the form of a pair of legs and the front and a single leg at the rear, allowing you rest the Mini Vulcan on cover for a more stable shooting position, not to mention give your arms a break. This is a remarkably user-friendly feature for a Minigun, good job Classic Army!

At the rear, we can find the pistol grip assembly, with a near-horizontal pistol grip and an enlarged trigger guard. The safety switch is ambidextrous, offering a 90-degree throw between the safe and fire positions, sitting nicely beneath the thumb, whether you run the Mini Vulcan left or right-handed. On top of the grip assembly, we are also equipped with a sling slot. with a smaller loop just behind. This could be used for a single-point sling or a two-point sling if you add a rail-mounted sling point to one of the side rails.

The battery compartment is inside the cylinder on the left side, requiring the cap to be unscrewed to access. Inside, you'll find two Deans battery connectors to which you mount your batteries. The Mini Vulcan requires 2 11.1V LiPo batteries to run, and we found the Giant Power 11.1V 1500mAh LiPo Battery Slim Stick Battery is a neat fit inside. The set includes two Deans to mini-Tamiya adapters, so if you only have mini-Tamiya batteries handy, no need to worry!

The cylinder on the right side is where we find the power/fire rate selection switch, a large red rocker switch, which only adds to the menacing minigun look. With the switch in the centre, power is turned off. The single line on the switch indicates the 1500RPM firing speed, and the dual line indicates the absolutely devastating 3000RPM mode. On the right side of the rocker switch, we can take note of the LED indicators; these display your battery capacity and power status. When the two middle LEDs are illuminated green, you're ready to rock!

As mentioned, each barrel features its own independent HOP-up unit adjuster, a slider-style adjuster accessible through the hatch on the top of the receiver. The barrel can be rotated by hand to set each HOP-up unit, but be very careful when doing this, as rotating the barrels by hand will shoot if you have any BBs left inside the system. The HOP-up allows you to tune the amount of backspin applied to your BBs and adjust for different ammo weights. In the case of the CA Mini Vulcan, you can choose to set the HOP-ups to the same level for a laser-straight beam of BBs or alternate the HOP-up setting for a true LMG-style spread, creating what is known as a "beaten ground" for area denial purposes.

Inside, the CA Mini Vulcan is very unique, equipped with a proprietary gearbox design, as one might expect. While not much internally is upgradable, each cylinder group features a quick-change spring system so you can tune power to suit your needs. A neat feature you will need if you have a heavy trigger finger is the built-in overload shutdown thermal protection system. This will cut power to the Mini Vulcan before any damage is done from overheating, though we have had a good play with our demonstration model on the showroom range and have yet to overheat this beast!

If you're in the mood for something completely different or you desire a game-dominating piece that practically does the hard work for you, the Classic Army M133 Mini Vulcan Rotary Minigun AEG is the right tool for the job. While it may not be welcome in CQB, this makes a mighty platform for woodland warfare; once you see one on the field, you'll realise your squad needs this!

Special Instructions

Always check with the skirmish site you're attending before bringing the Mini Vulcan out to play. Some sites limit the rate of fire and the use of full automatic firing mode. The Mini Vulcan does NOT have a semi-automatic mode, so it is unlikely to be permitted at indoor CQB sites.

Please ensure the Mini Vulcan is entirely cleared of BBs before attempting to dry fire. This means emptying the magazine and shooting in a safe direction while wearing eye protection for 5 seconds approximately to clear any BBs remaining in the feed system.

If you rotate the barrels by hand, the Mini Vulcan will shoot. Please avoid this if you suspect your Mini Vulcan is not entirely cleared of BBs.

The Mini Vulcan requires 2 x 11.1V LiPo batteries to function. Two Deans to Mini-Tamiya adapters are included, so you can choose from either Deans batteries or Mini-Tamiya batteries.

Special Instructions

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.

Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.
