Incoming: Exciting New Airsoft Releases in 2026
🎉Happy New Year Airsofters! 🎉We wish you all the best for 2026 and hope to continue to serve you well in the coming year!
With that said, let's cast our eyes on the horizon and check out some sneak peeks of what Airsoft has in store for 2026!
1. Gate PTX HPA Pistol
Perhaps the most anticipated Airsoft new release of 2026, the Gate PTX HPA pistol is mere months away! For those who haven't heard, this is a purebred HPA-fuelled design powered by Gate's Pulsar S2 HPA engine with a variant of the ASTER II Bluetooth® ETU serving as the brain, offering programmable fire modes and a wide range of tuning and customisation options built in.
The exterior is made from CNC-machined 7075 aluminium, giving the PTX incredible strength while keeping the build lightweight and agile.
Its VSR/GBB pattern HOP-up unit extends range to far beyond what most pistols can achieve, with adjustable velocity between 0.5 and 1.5 joules and a stunning rate of fire of up to 50 rounds per second!
The PTX looks to be practically unbeatable in CQB, and its form factor gives us plenty of ideas for 3D printed body kits to transform the look. This thing is begging for an H&K G11 conversion kit!
Is this an AAP-01 and Hi-Capa killer? Only time will tell, but with performance figures like these, we expect the PTX to be a serious presence on skirmish sites across the country and form a new benchmark for speedsoft performance!
2. S&T Armament SVT-40 AEG
A rare historical platform Airsofters have been begging for, the SVT-40 was the Soviet Union's first mass production self-loading rifle, and its short stroke gas piston system led to numerous modern firearms designs, from the Dragunov SVD to the G36, SCAR and MCX.
From what we know, this will be a full metal build with a real wood stock and a plethora of steel and stamped steel parts, making it a museum-quality replica which reenactors will love; just what we expect from S&T.
The trigger safety works just like the real thing, and inside, we're equipped with an ETU with cycle control and low voltage cutoff, a rotary HOP-up unit and an as-yet unknown gearbox shape.
Red Army reenactors will be very happy with this release, as will collectors of historical firearms designs. While the real SVT-40 was an extremely rare thing to encounter during WW2, reenactment-themed skirmishes are about to be littered with them!
That's one less historical platform manufacturers owe Airsofters! We can't wait to get our hands on the S&T SVT-40 and hope to see more historical replicas following. We nominate the SKS and G-41 as the next in line!
3. S&T Armament AN-94 Abakan AEG
The world's rarest production firearm, another real steel platform Airsofters have dreamed of for decades, the AN-94 AEG from S&T will be with us in 2026! For the uninitiated, this incredibly unique rifle was Russia's answer to the H&K G11, an advanced design with what is known as a "balanced recoil system" to reduce felt recoil and a 2-round hyperburst mode intended to allow 2 rounds to leave the barrel before the recoil impulse is felt.
Fans of the Battlefield game series will instantly recognise this as the rifle which does everything well, capable of taking names at range but equally potent up close and personal. Looking at the AN-94, it is a wonder S&T managed to fit an Airsoft gearbox inside this unconventional shape. We suspect a version 7 gearbox or a similar unique design resides inside, but we, like you, are all waiting for the big reveal!
While the AN-94 has not yet entered production, we are hopeful for a 2026 release and another box ticked on the Airsofter's platform wishlist. Hopefully, S&T can get the barrel to move back and forth with each shot like the real thing, but that might be a little ambitious!
4. EMG DD PCC GBBR
We've already had hands-on with this beast in prototype form at IWA 2025, and we're pleased to report that the EMG Daniel Defense PCC GBBR is ready to go! A full metal TM ZET system-based build feeding from unique Scorpion EVO style GBB magazines, the DD PCC is a sleek, lightweight design intended for competitive shooting in the real steel world, bringing Daniel Defense's combat pedigree to the world of speed!
This unique AR-9 build is licensed by Daniel Defense via EMG, boasting realistic trademarks and all the details a proper replica deserves. The OEM is Double Eagle, meaning we should expect steel trigger components and wide compatibility with the TM M4 MWS/ZET system aftermarket, perfect for upgrade fiends who love tuning the best performance from their GBBR platforms.
Two length variants have been shown off: a full-length build with a standard 6-position buffer tube and the Daniel Defense Collapsible Buttstock and Tornado pistol grip appropriately replicated. The SBR/PDW version skips the buffer tube and stock, replacing them with a compact PDW sliding stock which perfectly matches the real Maxim Defense PDW stock favoured by DD for its real steel PDW platforms. If you love realism in a unique package, this should be your 2026 primary!
5. Delta Armory STRIBOG™ SP10A3 SMG New Colour Options & Diamond Version
Delta Armory's STRIBOG™ SMG has been a big hit so far, but in 2026, we have new upper receiver colour options landing in both the high-density polymer CHARLIE™ and the full metal ALPHA™ models. While we already have access to tan and olive lower receivers, we will soon have the option of a full tan or full olive STRIBOG™, along with black lower receivers with coloured upper receiver options.
Also on the cards is the "Diamond" version of the STRIBOG™, an even more beastly pre-upgraded build with a brushless motor from Warhead Industries, an improved HOP-up bucking from Psionic Upgrades and plenty more! We're patiently waiting for our sample Diamond STRIBOG™, and as soon as it arrives, expect a video and a detailed breakdown!
One of Airsoft's most modular, customisable SMGs, the STRIBOG™ is definitely looking fresh in its new colour variants, ideal for any loadout which needs to blend in in a natural environment. If you've held off on the STRIBOG waiting for the full colour range, stand by, as production is already complete and we expect to have our first batch within Q1-2 of 2026!
6. VORSK VMAR M4/AR-15 ZET System GBBR
Following on from the popular VMP-2 range, GBB specialists VORSK is dropping its first M4/AR-15 GBBR in 2026, known as the VMAR. First things first, this will be internally based on the Tokyo Marui MWS ZET System; great news for those seeking performance, reliability and aftermarket upgrades!
The VMAR boasts a unique receiver design with ambidextrous controls, from its double-sided fire selector and mag release to its raptor-style charging handle and enlarged ambi bolt release catch. VORSK's unique 5-lug QD flash hider is also present, as is the M-LOK handguard, light-enhancing sights and unique sliding stock featured on the VMP-2 range.
VORSK is also releasing two new magazine designs for the VMAR: a realistic steel-shelled STANAG design and a unique polymer-shelled design with all the VORSK aesthetic cues that made the VMP-1 and VMP-2 such distinctive designs, both of which are reported to work with TM M4 ZET System GBBRs. Like the VMP-2, we expect to see multiple length variants of this beast, so if you're a CQB specialist seeking a PDW or a marksman with eyes on a GBB DMR, expect VORSK to provide!
7. Novritsch SSR74 AK-74 AEG
One of the sleekest AK replicas we/ve ever seen, the Novritsch SSR74 has been on the cards for some time now, but we've been told it will hit the market late in 2026. Fans of AKs and Novritsch, your dreams are about to become reality!
The SSR74 is a full metal build with a unique M-LOK handguard, railed top cover, unique ergonomic pistol grip design and a 1913/20mm Picatinny stock interface at the tail end, complete with Novritsch's new 1913 stock design also seen on the SSX10.
The bolt handle, fire selector and trigger guard are also enlarged, giving you a far easier time running the SSR74 in-game than a basic AK build.
AKs have always been a pig to work compared to M4 platforms; hefty, sharp and utilitarian. With the SSR74, those with high standards for ergonomics will finally have an AK which suits them!
Available in two lengths with a unique rotary TDC HOP-up design, along with the usual Novritsch pre-upgraded internal parts, the SSR74 is the ultimate player-friendly AK for those who want to avoid the complexity of building a modern AK themselves. If you prefer to get stuck into a skirmish than stuck in your toolbox, the SSR74 is the AK for you!
8. WELL PRO WE13 KS-1/L403A1 AEGs
Famed for its Minigun and Dual Sector Gear AEGs, WELL PRO is hitting out hard in 2026 with a KS-1-inspired build known as the WE13. While we've known about a KS-1 GBBR on the horizon, it's great to see WELL PRO has also given us a close replica of the British Army's latest service rifle in AEG form, and it's due to land in Q1 2026!
KS-1 fans will immediately notice the correct receiver, trigger guard and bolt catch design, making this the first of its kind in AEG form.
The KS-1’s enhanced ambidextrous fire selector switch and QD sling plate are also present, as is its ambidextrous charging handle and unique URX6-style M-LOK handguard and dimpled barrel.
Everything except the furniture and markings is spot on in the WE13 build; add a PTS EPG and a real Magpul MOE SL-K stock, and you're practically perfect!
Inside, the WE13 is packed with the good stuff, equipped with a dual sector gear which effectively doubles the rate of fire, a programmable MOSFET/ETU and a potent high torque motor.
There will even be a brushless motor version up for grabs, which reportedly hits out at an astonishing 50 rounds per second!
If you want to make enemies at your next milsim event, the WE13 will definitely do just that. We recommend keeping the selector on semi-auto to keep gameplay in the “plausible” realm!
9. Novritsch SSX10 HPA/Gas Hybrid Sniper Rifle
While the SSG11 is known as the endgame of Airsoft sniper rifles, the SSX10 is about to make dominating the battlefield from long range easier than ever before! A unique hybrid design capable of being used with HPA via a bottle, line and regulator setup or with standard green gas using its built-in reservoir, the SSX10 is an incredibly versatile piece of kit, with all the performance benefits of the proven SSG10 series but easier and faster to cock.
Like the SSG11, the SSX10 features a tool-less TDC HOP-up adjustment dial, ensuring you can make mid-game adjustments to compensate for changing conditions.
The handguard features M-LOK attachment slots on the sides and bottom, the pistol grip is M4 Gas Blowback spec, and the rear is rocking a 1913/20mm Picatinny stock interface, ready to be dressed up with the most modern stock designs out there.
As far as accessory options go, the SSX10 is in a league of its own, offering modularity rivalling the SSG10A3 in a higher-performance and easier-to-use package.
If you're a ghillie-clad sniper who prioritises stealth, you'll love the remarkably quiet muzzle report, minimal movement needed for a follow-up shot and lightweight, player-friendly build of the SSX10.
The magazines are also VSR-10 pattern, ideal for VSR users who want to move up a notch!
Whether you’re fuelling yours on green gas or HPA, the SSX10 can only make you a deadlier sniper, a considerable step up from most spring-powered platforms in terms of speed and modularity. If realism comes second to performance, the SSX10 should be in your sights in 2026!
10. Specna Arms X Double Bell EDGE™ SR-25 AEG Series
A collaboration between Specna Arms and Double Bell, the EDGE SR-25 AEG series is due to land soon. A full metal build with ambidextrous controls and an M-LOK handguard, these slick DMR-style rifles replicate the latest variants of the real steel SR-25, the perfect base platform for a modern, milsim-friendly DMR build.
Inside, the EDGE SR-25 AEGs are equipped with the Kestrel Basic ETU from EShooter, offering amped up trigger response, programmable fire modes and adjustable pre-cocking. Also inside is a version 2 long gearbox with a CNC aluminium ball-bearing piston head and a steel quick-change spring guide.
We expect these beasts to hit our shelves early in 2026, and the price is expected to be under £350, with two magazines included. If you're planning a role-switch to designated marksman in 2026, this would be worth waiting for!
