A potential game-changer in the realm of Airsoft grenades, the imminent arrival of KRYTAC's Tornado 3 Timed Grenade has us all very excited indeed!
The Tornado 3 is the latest iteration of the Airsoft Innovations Tornado grenade concept, developed by KRYTAC with its own enhancements to improve significantly on the original design, both in terms of performance and reliability.
Powered by standard Airsoft gas and letting rip with 178 BBs upon detonation, the Tornado 3 boasts a CNC aluminium housing to ensure it can withstand the rigours of repeated use on the Airsoft battlefield.
Requiring only BBs and gas to run also makes it more economical than comparable blank-firing grenades, assuming you're already buying BBs and gas for your existing Airsoft platforms. That's one less consumable to buy!
To prevent the usual worries of losing your grenade in the field, KRYTAC® has added a compartment for an Apple AirTag or similar tracking device, meaning you'll never lose your investment in long grass, leaf litter or to an unscrupulous fellow skirmisher.
The feature of the Tornado 3 that stands out most to us is its timed "fuse", allowing you to quickly choose from 3 time delay durations so the enemy team never knows what to expect. This is an incredibly useful feature in the field and also means you'll have no uncertain moment wondering whether the Tornado 3 will go off, unlike an impact-fuse blank-firing grenade.
You can be confident the Tornado 3 will detonate every time, whether it's thrown in mud, on soft ground or otherwise, though opposing players will always be kept guessing.
Amongst its many perks, the Tornado 3 features what KRYTAC® call a "maintenance-free fill valve", designed to reduce the need for lubrication while encouraging consistent performance across a variety of Airsoft gas types, from spicy Red gas to Green gas and summer gas.
Offering remarkably high FPS for a grenade (up to 330 FPS using 0.20g BBs according to KRYTAC), you can be sure your foes will feel the hit from the Tornado 3. Its refined design provides a wider area of effect than previous Tornado grenades, so no matter how lucky the opponent feels, they will never escape!
