The new second generation ETU from G&G represents the cutting edge of Airsoft technology, and offers a completely redesigned gearbox and a tonne of extra features out of the box as standard. The new ETU is half the size of the original whilst still retaining its' performance, and provides audible warnings for low battery, motor jams and spring compression failures. The redesigned gearbox is 70% stronger than its' original counterpart thanks for its' new shape and added structural strengthening. The air seal has been dramatically improved through the addition of a double O-ring air nozzle and cylinder head for greater compression, life span and performance. The gearbox also features a quick change spring system which removes the need to disassemble the gearbox should you need to change the main spring of your RIF. A redesigned bevel gear offers better engagement with the motor, and the addition of a wire shield for the pinion gear on the motor removes the possibility of your trigger cables being shredded by the motor. The new gearbox offers a 'Firearm Simulation System' which means that the weapon will stop firing on empty with the new proprietary magazine, or when no magazine is installed, making for a far more realistic experience and improving lifespan by prevent dry-fires. The ETU is programmable on the fly, retaining its' feature of three round burst by holding down the trigger in 'single' for ten seconds, and as a new feature can be put into five round burst by switching from auto to single five times in quick succession.

The overall construction of the weapon is fantastic and the whole package is put together very tight with no wobble or rattle from any components. This coupled with the new gearbox design leaves you with an overall weight of 2.9kg which is manageable in the field, but a satisfying weight which screams 'quality'. It features a 16" M-LOK / 20mm RIS combination handguard which serves to minimise overall weight whilst retaining ergonomics, still allowing to add your favourite M-LOK attachments or RIS accessories via the top rail or by purchasing rail adaptors. A six position rear-wired crane stock will ensure any user can find a comfortable position to use the weapon and offers gratuitous battery space which is quick and easy to access via the rotating butt plate. Ambidextrous controls on the receiver further improve ergonomics, and means that left handed shooters will have no problem using this platform without adapting to right handed controls. Inside the receiver you will find an easy to adjust rotary hop unit which will allow you to spin even heavier weight rounds straight out of the box.

Special Instructions

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.
