Description

This electric powered Airsoft gun is based on the infamous AK platform, and is one of the main "food groups" of the Airsoft world, being built around the tried and tested 'Version 3 Gearbox' which is a very reliable design and offers good availability of aftermarket/replacement parts. It is top wired and has a Mini Tamiya connector underneath the dust cover, offering ample space for a long and thin LiPo battery, or the included 8.4v 1100mAh NiMH battery.

The majority of this replica is made from Alloy which makes for a very solid rifle which will stand up to moderate amounts of abuse in the field. The handguard, foregrip, pistol grip and stock are made from a high density Polymer which is much better than the cheaper plastics found on most budget Airsoft guns. The handguard has four points of 20mm rails which are ready to accept any compatible accessories, but comes out of the box with a folding foregrip already attached. The sliding stock is very easy to use and can be moved to a variety of lengths by simply squeezing the stock adjust trigger and moving it into place. The included high cap waffle mag holds a total of 500 BBs and is filled by opening the door on top, pouring in the BBs and winding the magazine via the clockwork wheel on the base. The end of the Alloy outer barrel assembly features a 14mm CCW thread which will let you attach suppressors, tracer units and other muzzle devices. The thread is very common and is compatible with most Airsoft suppressors. The HOP unit is a slider style adjustment which is accessed by pulling back on the charging handle to reveal the slider. By making adjustments you can fine tune the BB trajectory to increase range just enough to help you reach targets further out.

Included in the box is the RIF itself, a 20mm folding foregrip already attached, a 500rnd high cap magazine, an 8.4v NiMH stick battery and EU pin charger and AK style sling. This is the perfect replica for those who want something different from the sea of Multicam-wearing M4 users, don't want to break the bank but also want a solid and reliable replica which can perform at all ranges.

Special Instructions

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.

Recommended Battery

For this rifle we recommend a 7.4v LiPo with Tamiya connector in stick configuration.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
