Description

The Evolution Airsoft Recon S MK18 Mod 0 Carbontech is largely built from Evolution's own Polymer-Compound; Carbontech™. This gives the Gun a lightweight overall build that makes it perfect for getting stuck into the action, but means it is also tough enough to survive plenty of knocks. The Outer Barrel Assembly, Buffer Tube and Trim aspects of the Rifle have been made using Alloy to provide a strong core, and to give the Rifle as much structural strength as possible.

Externally, the Rifle features all the bells and whistles you would expect of a top-end Airsoft Gun, such as a 14mm CCW Threaded Barrel for the installation of Suppressors, Tracer Units and other Muzzle Devices. The Handguard is a replica of that seen on the M4A1 platform and offers four positions of 20mm Rail for accessories. The Rifle comes supplied with a 20mm Foregrip and Rail Covers out of the box, so that you can achieve a tactical look straight out of the box. A 20mm Rail can be found on top of the Receiver, allowing the installation of Sights and Scopes straight away. The rear of the Gun has a Six Position Sliding Crane Stock, which can be set to multiple lengths to suit different users. An Ambidextrous Sling Plate can be found on the Buffer Tube, allowing you to connect a Sling from either side of the Gun, making this a strong choice for both Left and Right Handed Players. There is also a QD Sling Socket on the Stock, which can accept a Quick Release Sling Loop. The Stock is also where your battery should be housed, with a mini-Tamiya connector inside ready for a 7.4V 1450mAh stick battery. Please note, the stock of this AEG looks like a Crane stock but is far slimmer in design, and the battery compartment is inside the buffer tube and not the stock cheeks.

Internally is where this Rifle really starts to shine and has a tonne of components and features that you would never normally see on an AEG at such a low price point. Starting off the list is a 6.01mm Inner Barrel that provides great consistency from your BBs, a set of Reinforced Steel Gears to ensure long-life performance, 8mm Steel Bushing, Steel Teeth Piston, Rotary HOP Unit and Sector Gear Delayer, all encased in a Reinforced Gearbox Shell. Other features include a tool-less, quick-access Pistol Grip and a Quick Removable Spring Guide, allowing easy access to the Main Spring of the Gun, without disassembling the Gearbox. To access the HOP Unit, simply pull back on the Charging Handle and make adjustments to the Rotary Dial behind the Dust Cover. A Unique Serial Number can be found on the side of the Receiver to identify your Rifle should you ever need to prove that it's yours. As a final note, the Gearbox has an Integrated Slot for the installation of a MOSFET and/or Electronic Trigger Unit, should you wish to take your Airsoft Electric Gun to the next level.

Included in the box is a 300rnd High Capacity Magazine, which is filled by pouring BBs into the top Fill Window, and winding the Clockwork Wheel on the base of the Magazine to feed BBs into the Gun. FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
