This part is incredibly easy to install, its' a simple case of unscrew your old buffer tube and replace with the new one to allow you to use up to a 7.4v 2200mAh stick battery in your AM-016. Not only does this buffer tube massively improve battery capacity for your weapon, it also gives you a longer platform to rest your cheek on when taking aimed shots, making the weapon much more comfortable to run long term. - AM-016 Buffer Tube Extension - 180mm
Firstly you will need to remove your stock and original buffer tube by simply unscrewing it from the rear of the receiver. Thread the new buffer tube into the back of the receiver being VERY careful to get it right the first time, do not tighten the buffer tube if you are not sure you have threaded it right. (Pro tip #187: when threading the buffer tube, turn it the wrong way until you hear a click and feel the threads meet, then turn it the correct way). You will then need to salvage the end cap from your old buffer tube to use for the new tube. Reinstall the stock and away you go! Bear in mind that depending on the type of battery you try to install, you may need to put the battery inside the buffer tube before screwing it into the receiver, and fold the tamiya connector away into the back of the receiver.

Upgrades and Downgrades should only be undertaken by experienced players, or Airsoft Technicians. Please note, changing any internal parts of a weapon voids its warranty unless done in-house by our staff.
Please ensure that when fitting parts the part purchased is the correct part, as once a part has been fitted we cannot accept return.
We do know that players love to tinker, so we're here to give you help should you require it, and if needed you can get in touch with our workshop for more help!
Please note that some parts may be unique to a specific brand of weapon. For example: Parts for an ASG M4A1 may not fit an ICS M4A1.
Parts from the same brand typically have a high chance of fitting, though be warned, some replicas use unique parts, so please ensure the part will fit before you attempt to fit it.
