UMAREX: H&K Airsoft Reveal
UMAREX have progressively been building themselves to be the biggest supplier of licensed replica firearms in the industry, with one of their most famous licensing lines as you wold expect being Heckler & Koch, UMAREX have truly gone all out when it comes to replicating some of the best platforms that the world of modern firearms has ever seen.
We're in awe, truly we are. We've inspected the H&K range with a fine tooth comb and every single detail is down to a tee, from the unique gas block replication to positioning of the official H&K trades, these replicas are spot on and we're very excited to stock them.
Lets take a look at two of our favourite platforms from the range of replicas by UMAREX, this wasn't an easy selection!
The Gas Blowback HK416 A5
UMAREX presents one of the most iconic firearms in modern Assault Rifles, the Heckler & Koch HK416.
This is a Gas Blowback, Fully Licensed, 1:1 scale replica of possibly one of the most appreciated weapon platforms of the 21st century.
With a full alloy receiver & 9.5" handguard, reinforced H&K polymer ergo pistol grip and the unique ambidextrous fire controls, this looks and feels just like the real thing!
THIS GUN IS SO GOOD! Not only is this beauty decorated in H&K branding and built to an astounding spec, it's also got a fully functioning recoil bolt system powered by the included H&K 30 Round Green Gas Magazine. Now we've handled some Gas Blowback guns before but this UMAREX Heckler & Koch 416 really packs a punch! There's no drag, no waiting for the cycle to complete, no slow travelling with the bolt, this recoil system has been designed to imitate the real thing and HOT DAMN does it do a good job, as soon as your trigger releases the hammer you're in for a beating from the bolt as it throws itself into your shoulder with every shot, this really is the pinnacle of airsoft immersion.
The H&K USP .45
Ah the USP .45, a Counter Terrorist's favourite pistol.
The UMAREX USP .45 is an awesome Gas Blowback pistol and no other sidearm even comes close to the USP's tacticool appearance. The slide is constructed from Alloy, which makes a lovely metallic sound when racking & chambering a new round. The slide has a sleek, minimal and chamfered design fitted with the USP valley style white dot iron sights, it also features rear serrations along the back of the slide to allow for improved manipulation and handling, providing a stronger grip against all contact surfaces!
The gun features a unique safety, which is accessible at all times via the shooters hand. Just above the beavertail you will find a grey horizontal lever, this can be moved up slightly to engage the safety which will prevent the trigger from moving, with a white line indicator on the lower to indicate as to which fire mode you are in. The safety also offers a de-cocking system, once your hammer is locked back and the gun is ready to fire, you can push the safety switch downwards which will disengage the hammer.
There's just something about a USP .45 that you don't get with other pistols, perhaps it's the ultra realistic feel combined with the Heckler & Koch trademarks, or the fact that it kicks like a mule! whatever it is, UMAREX nailed it on this one and we're excited to give you the chance to grab one for yourself.
