If you're in search of a sling solution which easy to mount and remove, the Vector Optics QD Sling Socket & Swivel for 20mm Picatinny Rails is ideal. This set includes a QD sling socket for 20mm Picatinny rails and a QD sling swivel, allowing you to quickly remove your sling without the usual detangling process. This Kill Flash is designed for 20mm objective lenses, mainly Vector Optics sights, but it may be compatible with other brands. It is constructed from aluminium and can also act as a crude lens protector; however, a standalone lens protector is still preferable.

When installed, the honeycomb design of this kill flash limits the amount of light allowed to enter the lens, which on a sunny day will result in a less fuzzy and distracting image, making it much easier to pick out details/targets. The other benefit of this kill flash is that it prevents the sun from bouncing off your lens and lighting your lens up like bonfire night, which would massively give your position away.
