Description
It features a grey Spartan helmet complete with plume, wings and scribe underneath. The scribe has the text 'WE WILL FIGHT IN THE SHADE' in black letters, and the patch is finished with a black border. Plutarch, a Greek biographer cited in his history of the legendary Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC that one of King Leonidas' soldiers complained that he couldn't see the sun due to the Persian arrows that filled the air, to which Leonidas responded: "Won't it be nice then, if we shall have shade in which to fight them?". Although it's unlikely you'll be Airsofting under a cloud of arrows like the Spartans, the lovely British weather means you'll probably be fighting in the shade anyway.
