RAVEN VX-14 GBB Pistol; Pre Two-Tone Blue

Now here is a gas pistol that truly deserves some praise. The Vorsk VX-14 is packed with modern features, combining elements usually seen on both Hi-Capa and 1911/MEU-style airsoft pistols. This gives you the best of both worlds: the VX-14 fits into standard 1911 holsters, but uses the larger, double-stacked Hi-Capa magazine for great gas capacity and strong performance. The result is a solid, reliable pistol that sends BBs downrange with a very satisfying recoil. And that’s only the beginning, so let’s take a closer look.

Starting with the slide, it follows the classic 1911 shape but with some modern updates. You’ll notice diagonal grooves at the front and rear, which not only look stylish but also give you better grip when racking the slide, whether you’re wearing gloves or not.

On top of the slide, you’ll find light-enhancing open iron sights with green fibre optics. These glow in lower light, helping you spot and line up targets more easily, especially useful if you prefer stealthier gameplay or plan to take advantage of the included suppressor (we’ll cover that shortly).

Keeping with modern design, the VX-14 includes a 2-inch 20mm Picatinny rail. This allows you to attach a variety of common tactical accessories such as torches, lasers, or pistol lights. Since 20mm rails are the standard for most attachments, you’ll have plenty of options to customise the pistol to your playstyle or mission.

One of the biggest advantages of the VX-14 compared to pistols in a similar price range is the included suppressor and inner barrel extension. The suppressor matches the pistol’s sleek look, with cut grooves and modern styling. It attaches via a 14mm CCW thread, and the front cap can be removed if you want to add foam for extra sound reduction.

The real standout, though, is the inner barrel extension, which is separate from the suppressor. Because a longer inner barrel boosts FPS, it can push the pistol over site limits on warm days, but in colder weather, it provides a big performance boost, giving you more range and consistency in winter games.

Having both the suppressor and inner barrel extension included at this price is impressive on its own, but the fact that they’re separate makes it even better. You can choose to install one, both, or neither. For example, if it’s warm and you just want the suppressor for looks or sound reduction, simply attach the suppressor and leave out the inner barrel extension, easy!

The VX-14 also leans into its modern styling with a skeletonised trigger and hammer. This slightly reduces weight, but most importantly, it just looks great. Another Vorsk-specific touch is the textured side panels. We call this the V-texture, and it improves your grip whether you’re wearing gloves or shooting bare-handed.

The grip panels are made from durable polymer but have a slightly rubberised finish, making the pistol feel incredibly comfortable in the hand, smooth and secure. The magazine release even matches the grip panels with the same V-shaped pattern, showing just how much attention to detail Vorsk put into this design.

If you want a gas blowback pistol with modern features and great value, the VX-14 should definitely be on your radar.
