About 20mm Picatinny RIS/RAS Rail Equipped Airsoft Guns
Many Airsoft guns use 20mm Picatinny rails as their primary attachment interface, offering a wide variety of accessory options which can be mounted to suit the users' preferences. 20mm Picatinny rails can be used to mount vertical or angled foregrips, tactical flashlights, lasers, red dot sights and scopes, and even 40mm grenade launchers, offering easy customisation and the ability to change configurations quickly and with minimal tools.
If you need access to the widest pool of Airsoft accessories, a 20mm Picatinny rail-equipped gun would be the right call. Some 20mm equipped rifles have individual rails on the handguards, and others have four-point RIS/RAS style quad rail handguards with rails at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions. The advantage of a quad rail handguard is the ample rail space you have to mount accessories, though a quad rail may make the front end of the rifle heavier as a result, especially if you deck it out!
